The Radiant Kingdom of Heaven

The kingdom of heaven is a realm where everything is bathed in light, illuminated by the magnificent radiance of God. His glorious light brightens the entire holy city, leaving no room for night or darkness. Every part of it shines and sparkles with purity, appearing crystalline, transparent, and filled with His glory.

God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5

This divine light represents the profound truths that reveal the full nature of Jesus. Just as a ray of light is refracted into seven distinct colours, yet combined, they create pure white light, so too does each aspect of Christ’s light manifest to increase the fullness of His presence in our lives.

The Transformative Power of His Presence

Our experiences with Jesus transform us, from the initial, tender awareness of His presence when we first come to faith to the overwhelming joy of seeing Him face to face. These moments of divine encounter shape us, guiding us step by step into His likeness, conforming us to His image, and filling our lives with His glorious light.

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
